Coral Highway

The project focused on data research and mapping to understand the coastline of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The information was presented at three scales: national, regional, and local. The objective of the territorial analysis was to find the strategic points to locate future touristic nodes that have as points of interest the natural wealth of the Red Sea coast.

Based on the characterization of the eastern Arabian Peninsula, touristic, cultural, and natural elements were found, which make up the structure of a large-scale project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Then, the study was centered in the study of the region formed by the cities of Umluj, in the north, and Jeddah, in the south, in order to understand the local dynamics and, thus, lay the foundations for the development of a tourist hub in Al Jar, located 10 kilometers north of the city of Al Rayes.
